Oh, the horror of it all.  Was it worth really worth is probably the only thing that you can really think of this morning.  We will let you figure out that mystery over the next few years.  In the mean time, we will help you get out of that slump you are in.  First things first, find some hangover cures .

  Hangovers
Because this is one of the greatest concerns of students visiting this page, we have dedicated an entire lengthy page to drinking hangovers , the myths, misconceptions, dangers and advice for future hangovers.  

 

  Energy Drinks and Ideas
If you didn't get back until 4 or 5 in the morning with an 8 am class, you will most probably be hurting.  We feel for you, after experiencing this same situation many times ourselves.  If you cannot rely on your own energy to get you through class, chemical alternatives are a great temporary substitute.  Our panel of experts have put together a concise list of rigorously tested cures for your energy crisis:
  1. Energy Drinks.  This is by far the most effective and immediate solution to your energy crisis.  We have listed the popular options in order of effectiveness:
    1. Red Bull - truly gives you wings... no more than 2!
    2. Energy - A green bottle that costs a fortune, but really works!
    3. Jolt Cola - Primitive, but the caffeine is measured in kilograms.
    4. Gatorade, Powerade, Energade - just sugar water... save money and make your own.

  2. Energy Pills.  Be very careful when using chemical substances as overdoses are not very difficult.  The selection is quite large, and they all work fairly well.  'No Doze' is our preferred choice, but again, they all pretty much screw up your system and keep you awake.
  3. Coffee.  Although this use to be under Energy Drinks, Coffee has been promoted to its own category due to the rich aroma in the early morning.  This should get you up, but the caffeine as well will keep you going through the first couple of classes at least.  Two tips:
    1. Drink a lot of water as caffeine dehydrates you and that will make you feel even more sick and tired.
    2. Moderation is the key.  More than 12 cups is illegal for professional athletes... don't go overboard and by all means, don't play drinking games with coffee.

 

 

  Excuses for every situation
The beauty of social skills has never been truly revealed when it comes to covering up a mistake or forgotten assignment.  Instead of relying on your own nervous excuses under pressure, memorize a few of ours and approach every situation with a new found confidence.  Try to memorize as you generally deliver these lines under pressure and weariness:
  1. Excuses for being late to class.
  2. Excuses for not doing your homework.
  3. Excuses for sleeping during class.

 

  Preparation for next recovery
If you are reading this, you truly need to preserve both of your brain cells for school.  However, we will not leave you stranded.  
  • In order to prevent hangovers, read up on some hangover preventions and learn about what really causes those nasty 'morning after' hangovers.
  • Stock your fridge with energy drinks, and reserve them only for emergency as they do tend to be quite expensive.
  • Memorize excuses!  This is very important to your future in University as a well delivered line can appease the angriest of teachers.  Mirrors are always a good companion when delivering these lines.
